What Should I Do If I Fall for Myself? [Narcissism]

Narcissus romance, pseudo-incest

One day, after years of losing the ability to feel emotions and physical sensations, Jia Xing finally felt pain again.

He searched for the cause for a long time, then determined that the pain came from his own self ten years earlier.

That young man was desperate, obsessive, and kept everyone at arm's length, yet yearned for the light.

In a pitch-black alley with no surveillance cameras, a crowd had surrounded a seventeen- or eighteen-year-old boy. He deliberately threw himself against a blade, his eyes dark and unreadable. Bright red blood gushed from the wound. That was also when he began gradually losing his ability to feel emotions and physical sensations.

To fix this side effect, and to spare himself a few ugly scars, twenty-eight-year-old Jia Xing stood before the dilapidated rental home from his memories of ten years ago and introduced himself to the boy with a blank expression.

"My name is Jia Yang. I'm your older brother. From now on, I'll be taking you in hand."

At the time, seventeen-year-old Jia Xing hadn't changed his name yet. His mother had named him Xing, like a shining star.

Later, he lost his mother and was thrown out of the house. He returned to the small county town where his family was from and lived alone.

It had been a long time since anyone had called him by that name.

Then one day, a handsome young man who looked almost exactly like him knocked on his door, called him Xingxing, and claimed to be his older brother.

Jia Xing lowered his eyes mockingly.

As if.

But later, Jia Xing searched for signs of affection in this man over and over, going mad and losing himself in the process.

Without telling Jia Xing, he went to a tattoo shop and had a star tattooed on himself.

Later, while his mind was in a haze, he saw that same star on Jia Xing's lower back.

It belonged to him alone.
