A Dream for Two

While traveling to Tibet to cleanse her soul, Liang Meng runs into her former idol, Xu Sheng, who left show business long ago.

Using a ride as an excuse, she gets into Xu Sheng's car and asks him, “What are you going to Tibet for?”

Xu Sheng: “To fulfill my late wife's last wish. What about you?”

Liang Meng: “To pray for the soul of the child I never got to have, and, while I'm at it, to put the past behind me.”

She thinks Xu Sheng will look down on her, but instead he replies, “Getting a fresh start is pretty good, too.”

Liang Meng is taken aback, then smiles in understanding. “Yeah, it is.”

[Widower who lost his wife x troubled young woman = mature and gentle x quirky and mischievous]

[Both are non-celebrities, melodrama + emotional push and pull + healing, happy ending]
