Later, Chu Ke learns that Jiang Ran has a white moonlight in his heart, and that the kitten was a gift from him.

When school starts, Chu Ke transfers into his second year at Hengli High School. As he stands at the front of the classroom introducing himself, he spots that irritable customer sitting in the corner.

"Teacher, I want to sit there." Chu Ke points to the corner, smiling like an angel while his intentions are anything but pure.

"You dare yell at your grandpa Chu? Let me teach you how to spell 'manners.'"

At Hengli, exam seats are assigned by rank. For every exam after that, Chu Ke very "politely" follows right behind Jiang Ran.

Finally, as Chu Ke is once again ruffling Jiang Ran's hair like a kitten, the top student suddenly leans toward him and asks in a calm, casual voice, "Chu Ke, do you like me?"

The kid has finally caught on. Chu Ke holds back the smile already spreading across his lips. Jiang Ran, please remove the words "do you" from that question.
