Blurb: During a break, with nothing better to do, Li Shuo casually drew a beautiful self-portrait of Kikyo in the blank space of his English textbook. The class belle, who had come to ask him a question, really wanted it. But he immediately closed the book and said coolly, "How could I give you my English textbook?"
The class belle pouted and wheedled, "That page at the front doesn't matter. You can tear it out and give it to me! I'll treasure it!"
No matter how much the beauty pleaded, Li Shuo gave the same answer: "No."
After the evening study bell rang, Cheng Jiyue turned sideways and handed Li Shuo his test paper. Her gaze happened to drift toward the English textbook resting at the corner of his desk.
Li Shuo caught her glance at once and raised an eyebrow. "You want it?"
Cheng Jiyue froze. "I..."
Without another word, Li Shuo picked up the book, tore out the page with the drawing of Kikyo, and handed it to her. "If you want it, just say so. It's not like I won't give it to you."
Cheng Jiyue: "..."
The handsome, somewhat aloof transfer student Li Shuo had appeared out of nowhere, and his arrival instantly stole the top spot in the grade. He received more love letters and gifts than he could handle, and his name was everywhere on the school's confession wall.
Cheng Jiyue knew she was worlds apart from a gifted prodigy like Li Shuo. She never dared entertain any improper thoughts about him, and even avoided being the one to pass along another girl's confession letter.
Yet somehow, this gifted prodigy had noticed her. He slipped her snacks time and again, tutored her in math whenever he got the chance, let her use his meal card, shared the delicious food his mother had made by hand, and even defended her reputation in public at a school assembly...
After a whole year of openly crushing on her and secretly pursuing her, Li Shuo finally posted more than a dozen intimate photos of himself and Cheng Jiyue on his social media after the college entrance exam, showing off their relationship. All their friends and acquaintances were stunned:
"Everyone, I'm taken."
[Mutual first loves, both each other's first] A warm and sweet romance.
Cheng Jiyue: "He's way too good to me. It makes me want to punch those abs of his."
Li Shuo: "Out of all the girls I know, she's the only one I like looking at."
Please follow and save the author's other novel, He Doesn't Know I've Fallen for Someone Else:
Quan Zhixiao had secretly loved Qin Yan, a brilliant senior in the finance department, since their university days. After graduation, through a twist of fate, he became her boss, and she became his translator and... pretend girlfriend, a convenient shield.
She served as his date at banquets, bravely drank in his place at business dinners, played the part of his devoted first love during family-arranged marriage negotiations, and kept him entertained in everyday life...
After keeping up this relationship for several years, Qin Yan's career was flourishing and going smoothly, while Quan Zhixiao had become an older single woman. She was furious and resentful. She had devoted her sincere feelings to him for so long that even a sweet potato planted in that time would have flowered, borne fruit, and been eaten countless times over. So why was this man still sitting on the job without doing it? What was he playing at?!
And so, in a fit of anger, she went and had an affair.
At an auction one day, Qin Yan's phone pinged. When he saw an intimate photo of Quan Zhixiao with a little-known male model, he dropped the jade bangle worth a million yuan from his hand. It shattered on the floor. It had been meant as her Valentine's Day gift...
Qin Yan sat stunned for a full twenty minutes. In the end, he couldn't keep his composure and fled the event in utter defeat.
After a long, complicated search, he waited all night outside her apartment building and finally caught her. He demanded to know if she was trying to rebel.
Quan Zhixiao smiled calmly and scornfully. "You still don't know? I've fallen for someone else."
Qin Yan wanted to strangle her, but all he could do was grit his teeth and say in a low voice, "Then move those feelings back to me!"
Unfortunately, love isn't like grafting one flower onto another. You can't summon it when you want it or make it leave when you don't. Quan Zhixiao told him to get lost and stop standing in the way of her bright future.
The devastated Qin Yan nearly resigned himself to a lonely life, free of desire, until one quiet night he secretly typed a question online: How do you win back a woman who's fallen for someone else?
Then, after thinking it over, he added: Waiting for answers.
Theme: Study hard and get into a good university!!
The woman is sassy and the man is dedicated! Warm and sweet pre-new article, please collect it!
Take a good look, author, please give it a try
The male and female protagonists are quite suitable. Not pretentious. It was a bit funny in the last chapter when the heroine returns to her hometown to attack her parents. I felt there was no need to do that and it would be best to just ignore them.
I read it all in one go. There is no nonsense, no romance, and no eighteen turns on the mountain road. This novel really suits my taste perfectly.
So pretty!!!!!! It's just too short
Read it in one sitting! It's really beautiful!
