Corrupt Official

The notorious treacherous official Zhu Yuqing finds a snake egg and ends up hatching it into a human.

Whenever he hears these rumors, Zhu Yuqing thinks they're ridiculous, until someone really does foist a snake egg on him.

A life is a life, he reasons, and orders his servants to put the egg in his quarters for the time being.

By the next morning, the egg has actually hatched into a person.

Early in the morning, Zhu Yuqing sees a naked but well-built man lying beside him. Zhu Yuqing: ...?

Well, someone must be playing a trick on him.

After court each day, Zhu Yuqing has a few new tasks.

Teach him to speak, teach him to write...

The first full sentence the man says is to tell him his name: Shen Jingxue.

In his previous life, he was a snake and scared the person he loved to death. That's why he returned to an egg.

Zhu Yuqing doesn't believe him, but you have to cherish what you've raised yourself.

Shen Jingxue opens his mouth and sticks out his tongue to prove it. Where's the forked tongue? Isn't it just like his?

It isn't until Zhu Yuqing accidentally falls into the water and gets kissed that he realizes the one he's been raising really is... a snake...

Zhu Yuqing: Put everything else aside. Can you at least move the tail wrapped around my thigh?
