My other novel, The Wife Who Died Young in the 1990s Transmigrated, is now underway. Visit my author page to check it out!
The new novel is an experiment with a different kind of period piece, featuring time travel. The heroine will travel between the young male lead and the same man eighteen years later.
Blurb:
Jiang Ying transmigrates into a tragic period novel. According to the plot, the original heroine married Qin Huaiyi when he was still an educated youth sent down to the countryside. After the college entrance exams were reinstated, Qin Huaiyi got into a university in the capital and told his wife he was going into business to build a career. He wanted her to return to his hometown and look after his whole family.
In the book, the original heroine works herself to the bone for more than a decade in Qin Huaiyi's hometown. After he makes a fortune in business, she dies of illness, and he remarries his first love.
Jiang Ying takes over the original heroine's life. The System tells her that if she follows the book's plot to the end, she'll be able to return to her original world.
Jiang Ying has no intention of following the original plot. She finds Qin Huaiyi and throws a divorce agreement at him. "Qin Huaiyi, let's get divorced."
Blurb 2:
While vacationing at Taiping Lake, Jiang Ying inexplicably pulls a young man out of the water. He says he's from the 1970s and asks how he can repay her.
Thinking he's filming some kind of prank show, Jiang Ying replies offhandedly, "Then marry me."
Gu Changdong thinks it over all night and gives her a serious answer. "All right."
A few days later, Gu Changdong disappears. Jiang Ying thinks she'll never see the man who promised to marry her again.
Later, Jiang Ying transmigrates into a book and sees Gu Changdong again. She pretends not to know him, but Gu Changdong grabs her wrist. His face turns bright red as he says pitifully, "You said you'd marry me. Does that still count?"
New novel: After Marrying a Disabled Tycoon as a Substitute in the 1990s
The year Gu Chengfeng became paralyzed, Lin Zhi's younger sister, who was engaged to him, ran away. Her family couldn't afford to repay the bride price, so they made Lin Zhi take her sister's place and marry Gu Chengfeng, who had been paralyzed in an accident.
Lin Zhi cared for him in the Gu household as his fiancée, but Gu Chengfeng still refused to marry her.
Later, when Gu Chengfeng's legs recovered and he could walk again, he wanted to marry Lin Zhi. But she had already left the Gu household.
When they met again, they were both single. Gu Chengfeng married her, and for a few years they treated each other with respect. Their life wasn't especially good, but it wasn't bad either.
Then a car accident trapped them both. Lin Zhi asked Gu Chengfeng, "You only married me to repay me, didn't you? If we could start over, please don't marry me."
Gu Chengfeng slowly closed his eyes. "All right. If you get the chance to change your mind, make sure you find more happiness than you had with me."
They made that promise, but when they opened their eyes, Lin Zhi had been reborn in the second year of their marriage, on the third day of their separation.
In their previous life, this separation was the beginning of the rift between them. This time, Lin Zhi calls Gu Chengfeng. "Honey, I'm hungry. I want something to eat."
Gu Chengfeng comes home with fresh meat and vegetables and cooks three dishes and a soup.
Reborn, Lin Zhi abandons the cold war she waged in her previous life. She gazes up at him with sparkling eyes and says sweetly, "Honey, I missed you so much after just one day apart."
Gu Chengfeng: ...
Their colleagues discover that the usually aloof Captain Gu spoils his difficult little wife to no end.
Someone asks Gu Chengfeng why he loves Lin Zhi so deeply and remains devoted to her.
Gu Chengfeng says, "I was young and reckless. Later, I didn't know how to express myself, and I owe her so much. Only now do I understand what love feels like."
Theme: A woman should be strong and independent. Hard work brings rewards.
It's good. I'm not a cheap scumbag. I like how Jiang Ying handles things so neatly and neatly. It's refreshing to watch!
It's okay, I've finished watching it anyway
It's quite pretty, right?
I thought there was a side story
Congratulations on the completion, spread the flowers~
Ahhhh, it's so sweet inexplicably
Come on, come on, come on
There is nothing new in this chapter, it is equivalent to repetition. No progress.
Oops, I've finished one chapter about the past life, the end of this life, and the beginning of this life.
Let's do more extras. . .
