[The previous generation's story: "A Fake Marriage, Then Running Away with the Baby". A cold, taciturn CEO x an actress at the peak of her sensual charm. Find it in my author profile!]

Character setup: a stern, proper, dull, old-school top x a spoiled little minx bottom

Blurb: After her engagement is broken off, Gu Anyue finally recognizes her feelings. She has been deeply in love with her fiancee, Zhou Yiduo, all along. Just as Gu Anyue tries to win Zhou Yiduo back, she learns that her ex-girlfriend is already "together" with her younger sister.

In a hotel suite, Zhou Yiduo tilted her head and brought her seductive red lips close, brushing them against Gu Anyue's neck. "You were right, President Gu. Your whole family really does like me. Ying'er is absolutely crazy about me." Zhou Yiduo's red lips slowly moved upward, nearing the woman's ear.

"President Gu, would you mind if I became part of your family?"

"I would!" Gu Anyue's expression darkened, a hint of danger surfacing in her eyes. "If you want us to be a family, then we'll have to get married."

"..." At the word "married," Zhou Yiduo's mind went blank for a moment.

In that brief second, two soft lips, faintly cool, pressed against the corner of her mouth.

As they had agreed, a month later Zhou Yiduo announced on Weibo that she had broken up. Instead, the response she got was Gu Anyue's declaration: "I don't agree."

Gu Anyue: [I don't agree to breaking up, @Zhou Yiduo]

They had already agreed on this, so why was she changing her mind at the last minute?!

Not only had her mind changed, but Gu Anyue's whole personality had changed too. She became irritable and quick-tempered, acting like a completely different person. At times, she would become gloomy and withdrawn, and even cry a lot.

It turned out Gu Anyue had developed dissociative identity disorder four years earlier, and two completely different personalities lived inside her: Hua Zhongjing, a violent and scheming personality, and Ye Luo, a gloomy, possessive one.

Hua Zhongjing's alluring eyes were filled with blood-red fury as she pressed Zhou Yiduo against the wall. Her index finger gently stroked the other's lips. "Marriage? If you want to get married, you can only marry me."

"I'm going to take back everything that belongs to me. I'll make Gu Anyue sleep forever and disappear completely!"

Theme: As long as you're headed in the right direction toward happiness, don't fear the rough road ahead.
