Filthy Moon

In Wang Yu's eyes, Xu Siyue was a handsome young gentleman who had grown up in an ivory tower: good-looking, with a lovely voice and a good figure. Unfortunately, he knew nothing of life's hardships and often had an innocent, indifferent air about him, as if to say, "Why not eat meat porridge?" He was a constant reminder of the enormous gulf between them.

Fortunately, Wang Yu never expected them to end up together. When they went to college, he chose to study abroad. She turned down his invitation to go with him and went to the capital on a scholarship.

From then on, they were worlds apart. Because of the time difference and distance, they went from talking every day to every few days, then every few weeks. In the end, neither of them reached out to the other again, and things ended quietly and naturally.

She had always thought of that first love as the most unforgettable, beautiful memory of her youth. That was, until after graduation, when she was working and saw her young gentleman at a bar gathering, sitting stiffly and restraining himself beside a bold, fun-loving heiress. She touched him here and there. He looked pained, but seemed unable to turn on his heel and walk away in disdain, the way he once would have.

When he saw her, his face went pale, and his thin, almost bony frame trembled slightly.

That was when Wang Yu knew: his ivory tower had crumbled.

Her young gentleman was being painted in all the colors of reality.

A worldly woman from a poor family who works hard to get ahead X a naive, purehearted young gentleman who knows nothing of life's hardships
