Xishi picks up a very strange girl. With unruly pink hair, she curses at him all the time and never watches her mouth.

"You rotten strand of seaweed!"

"Is this one of your new tricks, you loathsome human?!"

"Don't push me! It's been ages since I criticized anyone!"

Xishi remains unruffled. He reaches out and pins down the little girl, who is trying to use her cuteness to get out of putting on shoes again, looking utterly exasperated.

"Only mermaids don't have to wear shoes."

Cujin struggles and squeals, baring her claws and teeth.

"I am one!"

"Sure, whatever you say."

That night, Xishi stares at the pink fish tail wrapped around his waist, stunned. So I'm the real clown here!!!

Nanhui is wholeheartedly devoted to falling in love and becoming human as soon as possible, but she can't understand why her targets still haven't fallen for her, no matter how hard she tries!!!
