Five years have passed since the outbreak of the zombie tide. Many people, content with nothing more than a peaceful life in the moment, have huddled together in a corner of the world. Su Xiqing, whose parents are both dead, is one of them.
The small city, enclosed by sturdy stone walls, is peaceful and secure, and home to people of every skin color.
Time has dulled their fear, until September 23, 2079.
The zombies rampage once again, and the supposedly impenetrable walls are shattered with ease.
Just then, a zombie with a face smeared in blood and pale bluish-green skin suddenly barges into McDonald's.
Panic erupts inside. Su Xiqing, who is working there, raises his beam gun for protection and faces off against the creature, which seems to have lost consciousness.
The other slowly says, "C-could I have a glass of orange juice?"

In 2074, a sudden virus swept across the globe. Qu Yuanbai escaped being turned into food, but he couldn't escape being infected.
Before losing consciousness, all he could remember was the Golden Arches sign, a dazzling young man, and the words:
"Hello, could I have a glass of orange juice?"
