[My next book is a danmei story, Strange Cases from Wuyin Island [Infinite]: The Archives. Please note that it's danmei. If you're interested, you can add it to your pre-release list in my author column.]
[My completed no-CP story in my author column, Survival Guide to the Paranormal Game [Infinite], is complete and ready to binge-read.]
Blurb:
"Clear the game? Sorry, my job is to destroy it."
"Underworld officers on the case. Bystanders, keep back."
The handsome, cold young man grips a ring-pommel saber and, expressionless, chops off the head of the fierce ghost in front of him.
The dark, terrifying world collapses in an instant. The young man closes his eyes and lets himself fall.
At some point, all kinds of terrifying apps suddenly began appearing on people's phones. These apps install themselves and can't be deleted. They also drag whoever owns the phone into a whole new space to hunt them down.
As it happens, the creators of these terrifying apps are all evil ghosts who fled the Underworld because of its poor management!
To maintain peace among the Three Realms, the Underworld must send people into the human world to eliminate these terrifying apps and free the trapped vengeful spirits.
Tang Cuo, formerly a judge in the Underworld and one of its ten outstanding employees, was sent to the human world by the old King of Hell for wrongly judging a ghost's crime. He even ended up as the director of the so-called Three Realms Affairs Office.
Tang Cuo has always lived freely. He spends his days judging cases and sipping wine, occasionally disguising himself as a human and going to the human world to tell fortunes and read people's romantic prospects.
--Of course, his predictions are right about half the time. The rest is up to fate.
He thought he could spend the rest of his ghostly life doing nothing and waiting to die. But one small mistake can haunt you forever, and now, at his age, he's still stuck on the front lines.
Forced into the job, Tang Cuo is furious. He grips the saber in his hand and begins a life of fortune-telling by day and ghost-hunting by night.
He destroys one terrifying app after another, striking fear into the ghosts illegally operating in the human world.
Tang Cuo finds the singularity created by yet another app. Looking at the ghost boss in front of him, he calmly pulls a Register of Judges from his robes and says in a low voice:
"Illegal business. You've caused ghosts no end of harm. Go to the Hell of Saws and think about what you've done."
Two ghost officers rush in and escort the ghost mastermind away. Tang Cuo turns around and hears his phone chime. He sighs helplessly.
"All right. Next."
Reader's notes:
1. This is a nontraditional Infinite story. The protagonist's goal isn't to solve puzzles and clear the game, but to chop down the boss and blow up the game world.
2. He has a golden finger, but it isn't overwhelmingly powerful. He still needs to use deduction in the early stages.
Theme: Work hard and you'll have a bright future
Another baby-faced boy of 17 or 18 years old, how come there is no mature-looking person in the 13th world with no cp and unlimited streaming?
Why did he suddenly reveal his identity to a group of ordinary people? Oh, it's not that cool anymore
I can't imagine wearing a suit and a trench coat
Handsome and cold = baby face??????
I think his taboo is "can't say the name"
Li Hanqing changed jobs, and this time he directly took up the job of a civil servant... This is more wasteful... Hurry, kill these bad apps, the ending of Lao Chi's article gave me a hard time.
"The next book is Danmei's "Hidden Kirijima Files [Unlimited]". Interested babies can click on the column to collect it~" Advance receipt copy: On this desert island filled with white mist, how much price can you pay to realize your wish? Ten years ago, Luo Ye's mother and brother boarded the luxury cruise ship Bilang and went to sea. They were lost in the boundless ocean and never came back. Ten years later, his mysterious sister came to his door and told him the curse that came from his family's bloodline. It was because of this curse that my mother and brother disappeared on the vast ocean. In order to find relatives, and also to undo the curse on his body. Luo Ye followed the path of his brother and mother and set foot on an uninhabited island full of ghosts. On the stone tablet on the desert island, the "rules" belonging to this place are engraved. "Only by passing through nine levels and solving nine puzzles can you realize your wish and leave this island." On the island, Luo Ye not only had to face all kinds of terrifying ghosts, but also the treacherous and changeable human heart. The sister who suddenly appeared, the strange boy on the same boat, and countless crazy passers-by. The silent and dilapidated school, the strange villa covered with ivy, the endless "underworlds" in the art gallery, the foggy town that appeared in his dream... In the midst of suffocating despair, the mysterious silver-eyed boy took Luo Ye's hand and said lightly: "I am your shadow. No matter whether the road ahead is a cliff or a thorn, I will always be with you." "I will work with you to undo the 'curse' on this island."
I agree with the protagonist's point of view. Sympathy also depends on the place and the person.
I feel like this copy is a bit abrupt, like a deus ex machina.
The main character's name is something I can't pronounce in either dialect or Mandarin [cheek holding]
