I Want to Farm After Crossing Over to the Bird Tribe

Everyone says Bai Wu is a weirdo. As a demi-beastman, he doesn’t play, make friends, or date. His greatest pleasure is collecting all kinds of seeds and planting them, though they grow sparsely. What a waste: the entire bird-beastman tribe has no other demi-beastman as beautiful as him. Later, the crops Bai Wu grew helped everyone in the tribe survive a harsh winter. It was the first time their people had made it through a bitter winter without anyone starving to death. Later still, Bai Wu opened a general store in the tribe’s first stone house. It was packed with so much delicious food and such a wide range of supplies that it was dazzling to behold. The shopkeeper was the bird tribe’s strongest warrior: a tall, stern priest renowned as an unattainable beauty. This priest, who used to fly all the way to the Heavenly Lake just to bathe, now sat calmly in a low stone house, appraising and trading goods, all so he could become the apple of Bai Wu’s eye. Only then did the tribespeople finally realize: Bai Wu wasn’t a weirdo. He was a god. Theme: Work hard and persevere
