The novel is complete. Thank you to everyone who supported the official release. A surprise bonus is here, but if you don't want spoilers, be careful when opening the comments.
My next novel is a fantasy mystery crime thriller, Soul Detective. The blurb is below. My other short, serious mystery, Leviathan, is also available. Please add both to your collection. You can find them on my author page.
Blurb:
Struck by lightning, gifted with supernatural powers.
A tentacled freak who can see through people's hearts.
Wrongful convictions overturned, old injustices avenged.
A new lead emerges in the "Red Shoes" murder case, supposedly closed twenty years ago. An innocent person may have been made a scapegoat, and the real culprit may have escaped. The victim's family appeals to the authorities, claiming a wrongful conviction. Before long, the whole country is discussing the case and public opinion is in an uproar. The police form a special task force to reinvestigate the decades-old case.
As an elite from Yu City, Xi Jing is an obvious choice for the team. The other selected member is Ji Shiyu, a well-known figure in Xing City. Both are famous "big shots" within the police force, not just for their abilities but for their personalities. The former has a hair-trigger temper. The latter is quiet, cold-hearted, and ruthless. In short, neither is easy to deal with.
On the first day the task force is formed, they meet for the first time.
Xi Jing and Ji Shiyu politely shake hands, and Xi Jing's face instantly falls. This guy just called him a delicate little baby in his head.
He's a lively young man, not some delicate little thing. Xi Jing's mood sours, his temper flares, and he yells, "I'm a six-foot-tall, full-grown man! You idiot!"
Ji Shiyu pauses. "???" After studying the expression on the other man's face, he questions him. "Are you sure you're six feet tall?"
Xi Jing is furious and frustrated, but he can't answer. He's still half a centimeter short of six feet.
One day, much later, Ji Shiyu takes Xi Jing's hand of his own accord.
Xi Jing panics and pulls away at once, staring at him in disbelief.
Ji Shiyu grins. "You know how I feel about you now, don't you?"
Xi Jing glares, speechless with indignation. This shameless beast actually wants to...
What do you do when a beast doesn't play by the rules?
A fantasy crime thriller.
Updates daily or every other day, after midnight.
A smooth-talking shou x a domineering, scheming gong
The crime thriller Blood-Colored Spirit Eyes is complete. See my author page.
My next novel, Soul Detective, is open for follows.
Blurb:
On the fifteenth day of the first lunar month, a group of children playing on Chengyang Lake discover a frozen corpse of a long-haired woman beneath the ice.
Geng Zhi arrives at the crime scene early and greets Jing Nian politely. "Good morning, Officer Nian."
Jing Nian turns to the newcomer, looking completely baffled. Who's this?
Geng Zhi reads the unfamiliarity in Jing Nian's eyes. "Um, I'm Geng Zhi. I just started yesterday. You forgot?"
Forgot? He didn't even know in the first place. Damn that Qiao Duo!
Realizing the problem, Jing Nian immediately puts on a friendly smile. "I remember now. Good morning, Officer Geng."
Geng Zhi takes a deep breath and grumbles inwardly, Great. He slept with me and forgot, and now he's forgotten me twice!
Later, Jing Nian finds Qiao Duo to settle the score. The other man says casually, "Yeah, I forgot. Now you know."
Jing Nian lets out a couple of dry laughs. "You bastard, Qiao Duo!"
When he was sixteen, Jing Nian accidentally fell into the water. After he woke up, there was another soul inside his body, named Qiao Duo. From then on, they shared one body. They went from bickering to getting along, gradually adjusting to living together. But every now and then, things still went wrong.
After spending a lot of time with Geng Zhi, Jing Nian realizes he's growing fond of him. But before he can confess, he discovers that Geng Zhi is in love with the other side of him.
Geng Zhi notices that Jing Nian is smiling less and less. Curious, he asks, "Is something going on lately? How come you don't smile anymore?"
Qiao Duo says coldly, "I'm not the one who smiles."
Geng Zhi: "Huh?"
Qiao Duo: "Thanks to you, he won't come out anymore. That's on you!"
Geng Zhi: "???"
A crime thriller about two souls sharing one body.
A love triangle between two people.

Theme: The truth can't be faked, and a fake can't become the truth.
At the end, when Chacha wrote Ji, Yu Zai told Xi Jing a fairy tale and returned to the beginning of the story. The whole article tells the case through fairy tales, so maybe it's all Ji's memories. He helps Xi Jing regain his memory by telling Xi Jing their past little by little, and we are all the listeners of their stories.
I always like to watch the ending first, but this ending makes me want to cry. He was obviously an excellent policeman with high spirits, quick thinking, and great leadership. He obviously still has a bright future. He had a hard time as a child and got over it. He didn't blame anyone and everyone loved him. He had a close boyfriend and his elders also gave blessings. He obviously should have a happier future, but in the end it turned out like this. There is a possibility that he will never be able to recover in his lifetime 😭 😭 😭 😭 😭 He is obviously such a good person, and so is his father. Why can't there be a happy ending 😭
Hahahaha, I've learned, I've learned, when will Xiao Xi recover his memory? I still hope he can go back and continue to solve cases and catch bad guys.
This ending makes me really depressed [rolls eyes] I am a vulgar person, I just like the happy ending. Reality is so painful, why can't novels be vulgar and happy for the whole family? Seeing the ending made me feel inspired and I ate a delicious meal, only to find a worm at the bottom of the bowl.
This ending... I just want to eat gum. It will make Xi Bao think of it.
Can anyone tell me what the easter egg is about? Thanks 😳
I think the author's intention was not to write a tragic ending. Xi Jing was forced to grow up and mature at a young age, and spent many years like an adult. After meeting Ji Shiyu, he gradually became a child again because he was loved. I think the last plot of the little prince is to let him make up for his lost childhood and have a chance to be a child. Maybe his memory gradually recovered and he became a criminal policeman again. This period of being a child was like making up for the childhood he lost prematurely, with the love of his parents and brothers.
Xi Jing was not sent to Uncle Feng QAQ in the end.
Because of Dabao? Hahahahahahahahaha
WwwwwwWaiting for Xi Baobao to solve the case! (Urge more, urge more, urge more!!!)
