Nuan Qing, daughter of the Spring God, returned after undergoing a trial and discovered that she had been engaged long ago. Her betrothed was the Heavenly Emperor's eldest legitimate son, the Snow God of the Celestial Realm.

The Snow God, Han Xi, was gentle and considerate, dressed in white as pure as snow, with features like a painting. Nuan Qing was quite pleased.

But it seemed the other party did not feel the same way. Han Xi appeared mild and accommodating, yet kept his distance from her at all times.

Later, Nuan Qing accidentally discovered that this “eldest legitimate son” of the Heavenly Emperor was actually a woman!

With her true identity exposed, Han Xi lowered her eyes. “Don't be afraid. I'll personally ask to break off the engagement. I won't hold Fairy Nuan Qing back in the slightest.”

The demons rose in rebellion and took Chong Li hostage.

That day, the usually aloof and self-controlled Heavenly Emperor Han Xi went on a rampage in the Demon Realm and finally brought her back.

On the night they returned from the Demon Realm, in a silent, empty palace, Han Xi caught Chong Li by the wrist and pressed her down onto the cloud bed.

Chong Li trembled all over. “A-A Han...”

Han Xi: “If you like the wild type, I'm not incapable of being like that myself!”

On the second evening after they returned from the Demon Realm, everyone in the Celestial Realm saw the Heavenly Emperor knock on the door of her own bedchamber for the twelfth time. Her manner was utterly gentle, completely different from the day before.

Han Xi: “Li'er, let me in. It's late, and it's so cold outside.”

From inside the bedchamber, a young woman's voice came, still annoyed: “You were the Snow God! You told me you were afraid of the cold?!”
