When Ayatsuji wakes up, he has gone from a secret base belonging to the Special Division for Unusual Powers to an unfamiliar basement.

A silver-haired man says in his left ear, "Your first assignment is to go undercover at the police academy, COINTREAU."

A mechanical voice says in his right ear, "You have been bound to the Detective System. We hope you enjoy your stay."

Ayatsuji, suddenly in an unfamiliar world and free of surveillance: "?"

With no choice, for the sake of his beloved dolls, he has to return to his old line of work.

However, even in a different world, the ability that keeps him from living freely continues to follow him like a shadow.
