Liang Wangjun died in a car accident while protecting Qi Ming.
For ten years, Qi Ming had been his love at first sight and the object of his careful pursuit. Liang Wangjun got Qi Ming into the music industry, painstakingly built up his connections and resources, and even worked as a ghostwriter, writing lyrics for him day and night. At last, after Qi Ming became a singing champion, Liang Wangjun received a marriage in name only.
Unfortunately, Qi Ming woke up one day and earnestly told him that life with him was far too dull. He only wanted a divorce so he could be with Huo Congfei, Liang Wangjun's best friend.
Ten years of unrequited love left Liang Wangjun with neither love nor friendship. He had nothing to say and willingly stepped aside. He never expected to meet with an accident on the way to the divorce, and ended up giving his life to Qi Ming as well.
He closed his eyes, then opened them again, and discovered he'd returned to ten years earlier. At twenty-three, he hadn't met Qi Ming yet and was a junior agent just starting to make a name for himself at his company.
Liang Wangjun: Great. I'm going to get back to my old job and make half a dozen superstars, then dabble in cross-industry investments and earn a few billion. As for romance? Anyone who knows how to care about me will do, as long as he isn't that little brat.
But later, eighteen-year-old Qi Ming appears before him. The pale young man twists his hands together, eyes red, and murmurs, "I'm your husband, Wangjun. Look at me..."
Liang Wangjun immediately calls the police. Watching the officers take the boy away, he lies with complete sincerity: "Kid, I really, truly don't know you."
[Later]
When he steps out from behind the scenes and onto the stage, everyone who presents him with flowers wears an expression of heartfelt warmth. Only Qi Ming knows that before this man stood at the top, he had once waited a long, long time for a rose.
[Carefree agent bottom x emotionally impaired beautiful singer top, both reborn]
A reconciliation after heartbreak, with a satisfying career storyline. The protagonist focuses on his career and becomes a heartthrob who attracts admirers. No change of top, happy ending.
Warnings:
1. [In their previous life] After showing affection to the bottom and becoming intimate with him, the top still kissed someone else, causing them to break apart. After they got back together (during their casual relationship and after marriage), the top was faithful to the bottom in both mind and body. Before marriage, the top did not return the bottom's feelings, was difficult to communicate with, and was self-centered. Even after marriage, he still couldn't express himself and remained caught up in his own world. [After being reborn] He's pathetic, but for now all four limbs are intact. [The full outline is already posted, so check it if you're unsure whether you can accept this.]
++++2. After being reborn, the bottom has lost his feelings for the top but still treats him like an artist, so he sometimes shows superficial concern. The story stays a slow, painful burn for about 80% of the way through, with the top unable to get what he wants. The truly painful twists come much later. [The full outline is already posted, so check it if you're unsure whether you can accept this.]
++++3. After being reborn, the bottom focuses on his career. He's talented and easygoing, so he unconsciously attracts admirers. If you dislike harem-like attention or career-focused stories, let's meet again in another book.

[Preorder blurb]
Loran wakes up in the body of a supporting character doomed to die in a certain insectoid novel: the Rose Duke of the Fapier Empire, who shares his name.
In the original story, the duke is an extremely frail male insect. His role is to marry the beautiful but tragic female insect protagonist, bringing him home from the slave mines, then die at the appropriate moment so the female insect can use his inheritance to live happily ever after with the true male lead, the crown prince.
Loran: Is this plot really so careless? What female insect could possibly be so charming that she'd become a rich widow marrying for the second time?
After meeting Xiamier, Loran changes his tune: Fine, I'm in.
The female insect he brings home is beautiful, tall and strong, and silent with wariness. Loran sees the scars all over his back, along with a deep knife wound across his lower abdomen. Xiamier chose to cut open his own reproductive tract.
Loran gives Xiamier a soft bed, delicious food, roses from the garden, and a tenderness and love that leave him at a loss. For three years, Loran happily cares for his awkward female insect, until his mission ends and he peacefully closes his eyes in a hospital bed.
He never expected that one day the System would beg and plead for him to return, because the world of that book had gone off the rails.
Five years after the Rose Duke's death, Xiamier, now his widower, becomes the empire's general known as "Wildfire." When the crown prince proposes to him before the court, Xiamier, who should have accepted with joy, draws his sword from its sheath and points it straight at the prince's throat.
"I will only ever have one male master."
Under everyone's astonished gaze, he calmly walks away, picks up a little insect who looks eighty percent like Loran from beside a mechanical carriage outside, and carries the child on his shoulder. He never looks back.
[Gentle, capable, deeply loving top x cold on the outside, warm on the inside, taciturn, max-strength bottom; the top pampers the bottom; they love each other deeply]

Theme: Love based on understanding and respect can give new life to what has withered
Ending... Good ending...(An arrow in the heart) The ending is really... Right... So good... So awesome... Seeing Zuo Hua... Um... Ah? But I don't feel yandere... (Thinking) I don't feel this way at all... Because I feel like he is a very clean and blank child, trying hard to find some connections, gain some understanding, and believe some conclusions... Intuitively and "selfishly", but this is because his cognitive ability in the world is only about how to keep himself alive. What is the world and what is others? Are others also human beings, just like himself? I have always been told that I am different and inferior... But I don't actually have any systematic understanding of anything. I just have some words in my mind and what punishment I will get if I do this. I continue to live along with time relying on my only experience and intuition... Of course it's selfish, because you don't know the world or other people at all... He was just picked up and brought home, and then he held on tightly, getting close to the only person who felt familiar and safe enough to really live on. He didn't know what boundaries, morality, and reserve were...
