Goodbye, Scumbag Ex. I'm Going Far Away

By a twist of fate, the space pirate Miles brought a little mute home. He gave him food and shelter, and even gave him the one sincere love he'd never confessed.

He never imagined that a few months later, the little mute would tear away his docile disguise and leave a bloody scar across his chest.

It turned out that the boy he'd taken in wasn't a lost little prince, but Hamlet, biding his time for revenge.

Miles could tolerate his lies and his revenge, absurdly enough, but in the end he couldn't withstand the words, "I never loved him."

Lu once thought Miles had no limits, and that he could keep him by his side forever.

Only after Miles quietly disappeared did he understand two things: he'd hated the wrong person, and he'd gotten this far only because Miles had indulged and accepted him.

When they finally met again, Lu looked at Miles, who was thriving on land, his heart aching with every beat. His voice came out a little hoarse. "...I'm here to take you home."

Back to the "home" you'd once imagined for me, the kind no one had ever given you.

But Miles instinctively shielded his new boyfriend behind him and smiled at Lu, open and untroubled. "That's enough, Lu. I gave you my ship, so stop messing with me."

[A versatile, emotionally intelligent, open-minded 35-year-old bottom x a baby-faced, eccentric, awkward 35-year-old top with overwhelming physical strength] A story about how the top acts like an idiot while the bottom loves him, and how, by the time the top realizes his feelings, the bottom has already decided to move on.

Despite all that, the top doesn't change, and they get a happy ending.

Also: The bottom is the captain of a space pirate ship, but the sci-fi setting won't affect your reading experience. The devoted-love tag is there for a reason; the blurb and story explain it. A bittersweet yet tender romance that will teach you the true meaning of love (heart).

Theme: Be strict with yourself and generous with others.
