The Alchemist's Throne [Worldbuilding]

The Alchemy Throne is currently the hottest full-dive game on the market. At midnight on New Year’s Day in the Chinese server, every player online vanished into the game. They couldn’t contact the GMs, the pain system had malfunctioned, the magic array in the main city was on the verge of shutting down, and the outdoor bosses were stirring. Even worse, two years later on the game’s timeline, the first expansion pack was released. The Otherworldly Legion descended upon Cadota. Half of the six main cities were destroyed, and the entire world lay in ruins. Lu Xi opened his friends list and sent a message to every friend who was online: “How about some infrastructure, friends? The kind where we build a Big Ivan.” -- Towers raised walls, and cities turned into soldiers. Magic eyes rose into the sky, like faithful watchdogs. Crows sang dirges, and the death knell had already sounded. This was the Fourth Calamity’s first gift to the Otherworldly Legion invading Cadota. They had never imagined that one day their names would be carved into stone and written into epics, standing alongside the gods. They all came from the same mysterious organization: the Fourth Calamity. This is probably a story about a group of gamers transmigrating together and striving for a better life. The main cast, for now: a down-on-his-luck alchemist with a warehouse full of materials, but whose alt character’s Alchemy level is too low to use them. A local otherworldly house spirit, a relic from the age of the gods, whom the alchemist picked up and developed into a terrifyingly powerful weapon. A PvP pro who, on the day he transmigrated, somehow left his pocket healer behind. A world-first raid team, except the bosses in the otherworldly dungeons have learned to run away. Anyway, we’ve got PvP players √ PvE players √ crafting profession players √ auction house players √ PVX scenery enthusiasts and fanfic veterans √ technical experts √ lore fans √ goofy players √ New novel coming soon: A Sword Spirit’s Guide to Finding a New Job One is a sword spirit who has caused the deaths of seventeen or eighteen sword cultivators. The other is a sword cultivator who has broken seven or eight hundred spirit swords. At last, these two walking weapons of mass destruction from the cultivation world meet on the matchmaking scene.
