At a local hanfu gathering, Lin Chi doesn't quite understand the entry procedure and is stopped by a staff member at the gate. The man's voice is cool and clear. "Please show me your ID."

Lin Chi rummages around for ages without finding it, then cautiously asks, "It's a little hard for me to get it out. Could you make an exception?"

With no other choice, Lin Chi searches his pockets, but accidentally undoes his belt and drops his skirt in front of the man. The situation is mortifying. He pulls up his skirt, sees that no one's around, and prepares to leave.

Just then, the man calls from behind him: "You forgot your ID."

Lin Chi grits his teeth, tightens his belt, snatches the ID with a flourish, and runs off without looking back.

On the first day of school, he sees that man sitting outside his dorm room.

Xu Ran is the heartthrob of H University's math department. He's cold and aloof, and everyone says he's hard to get along with, but for some reason he's exceptionally good to his roommate.

At last, Lin Chi works up the courage to speak, his voice trembling. "Xu... Xu Ran, do you know what the graph of r=a(1-sinθ) looks like?"

Xu Ran leans close to his ear and answers softly, "It definitely isn't a skirt falling down, right, my boyfriend?"
