Escape Game Reviewer

Cang Xiaoxiao is a gaming streamer who also reviews games.

One day, a mysterious studio offers her a high fee to livestream a review of a new game.

That same day, an unfamiliar account sends her a private message: Don't play it.

Cang Xiaoxiao checks her bank balance and makes a firm decision: play!

A hungry ghost is scarier than an evil ghost!

As soon as Cang Xiaoxiao opens the game, a white light envelops her.

Then she enters the game in person.

Cang Xiaoxiao: Hmm... The scenery is really lifelike. Four and a half stars.

As she plays, Cang Xiaoxiao upholds her professional ethics and evaluates every aspect of the game.

"The item is hidden way too well, and the puzzle makes no sense. Two and a half stars."

"Another revenge story? So cliche. Three stars."

"This NPC is disgusting. One star!"

With a crash, the NPC she'd rated was struck by lightning and killed.

Cang Xiaoxiao realized... NPCs she gave low ratings to suffered terrible injuries. At best, they passed out; at worst, they died.

Cang Xiaoxiao: ! The secret to getting rich!

Many people went insane because of this game, and some even died.

Cang Xiaoxiao alone sailed through it all, thriving more with every passing day.

Others came to see her, eager to find out how she kept escaping death time and again.

But they found countless ghosts lined up in front of her, holding gift boxes. "Xiaoxiao, please take this. Can I get five stars today?"

Cang Xiaoxiao said righteously, "No. Cang Xiaoxiao guarantees fair and impartial reviews. But... if you give me the gift, I can tell you how to get a high score."
