Sorry, I'm Also an Undercover Agent, GIN

[New novel in May: "The Case-Closed Hotline Operator," come check it out and add it to your favorites!] - Blurb: Hello, my surname is Kurosawa. For certain reasons, I can't reveal my first name. Anyway, people back home call me Mr. Kurosawa. Under orders from the tactical unit at my former employer, GSS, I took my underling Saburo along to infiltrate a shady pharmaceutical organization full of charlatans. Three years, then another three. I watched the organization grow bigger and bigger, expand beyond its borders, and go international. My underling and I both received code names and became senior members of the organization. But I never forgot where I came from, and always thought fondly of my hometown, Yokohama. So when will I finally be able to retire after a job well done? While passing through Yokohama on a business trip, just as I was planning to pass by my old home without going in, my underling Saburo rushed over in a panic to report: "Boss! Our former employer, the GSS tactical unit, has been completely wiped out!" My eyes nearly popped out of their sockets. Someone raided our old home?! "Boss! The Port Mafia wiped out our former employer!" Oh. Then we're fine. I was an undercover agent sent to the GSS tactical unit by the Port Mafia in the first place. "Boss! The Port Mafia has a new leader!" My eyes nearly popped out of their sockets again. I was sent by the former boss! Now that my handler's dead, can I still prove who I am? [Read Before You Start] 1. Everyone is silly and OOC. The author is letting loose. 2. The main setting is the Case Closed universe x supernatural Bungou Stray Dogs. It also features magic Kid and the fiery mafia. To balance the power levels, there won't be a direct, one-sided organization war, but the Black Organization still has to be taken down. 3. This novel features: a double agent Gin who loves his hometown of Yokohama, an alive Hiro, a happy boss Dazai who has Oda Sakunosuke, and a 0.5 non-typical Armed Detective Agency Mori who has been usurped and is being persecuted (tentative). 4. The main story is told in third person. - *Pre-release Blurb 1: "The Case-Closed Hotline Operator" [I regret it...] [If only I hadn't said that just now...] At two in the morning, Matsukawa Ikuya receives a call from the dead. The voice that reaches him is that of someone in their final moments. After awakening this ability, which could be called supernatural, Matsukawa Ikuya gets bound to a System called "With Unity in Hand, the World Is Mine." The final words, thoughts, and regrets of the dead are all keys to unlocking death scenario instances. His task is to enter the selected scenario and reverse the person's death. Success automatically corrects the worldline. Failure earns him a "Proof of the Dead," preserving the possibility of retrying and waiting for the next chance. Ordinary art student Matsukawa Ikuya: Something to pass the time. Sounds fun. Might as well give it a try. So, in his first week bound to the System, he becomes Mihama Town's top mediator, trying to clear up misunderstandings in a friendly way and make Mihama a harmonious place; - "Stop fighting! You have the time and brainpower to devise locked-room murders and cryptic death messages, so why not try publishing an SCI paper instead?" On his second call from the dead, he sees how sinister the System is. Forced to clear a scenario alongside the deceased, he earns several consolation-prize plushies called "Proofs of the Dead"; - "If I kidnap you first, can I prevent you from dying?" After filling the third row of his display cabinet with plushies representing the dead, he decides to become a middleman selling plushies, making a profit with zero investment; - "Mr. Amuro, see this little cat-eyed plushie? Want to buy one and use it as a punching bag?" In his fourth month of repeatedly looping through scenarios, on a dark and stormy night, he climbs into the bed of his black-haired, curly-haired neighbor right in front of the old man next door... - "I'm done trying. Better to sleep than kick the bucket! Good night." Matsukawa Ikuya's antics attract the attention of his butler, Saeki Aya, who's far away in Italy, diligently managing the family fortune. Saeki Aya, tears in his eyes: Young master! Have you finally decided to come back and inherit the family business?! Matsukawa Ikuya, coldly: Don't bother an ordinary art student. Turning around, he sees his curly-haired neighbor staring at a white Mazda RX-7 parked outside, gripping a set of dismantling tools and itching to get started. Matsukawa Ikuya: ...Maybe inheriting the family business wouldn't be so bad? - *Pre-release Blurb 2: "The Grand Line Manga Is a Hit!" After witnessing his brother-in-law's suffocating antics, Gemis angrily picks up a paintbrush and sets out to become a manga artist. Albatross News editor-in-chief: I can give you a column, no problem. Aren't you worried your brother-in-law will hunt you down? Gemis, surprised: Why would I be? I'm promoting him, aren't I? I'm sure the underground crooks will love it. He still hasn't paid me for the advertising. Before long, a manga titled "Sora, the Sea Warrior" takes the North Blue by storm. Gemis: It's time to start a studio. Albatross News editor-in-chief, flapping his wings excitedly: So I'll get more manuscripts, right? Gemis: That's right. I've found a few assistants: a blond who trips over flat ground, a cool guy in a spotted hat, an orange-haired guy with a cross-shaped scar on his chin... Albatross editor: Why are you telling me this? Gemis: It's time to head into the Grand Line for research! No chapters this month! Albatross editor: ??? Wait! * Marineford, Mary Geoise, the Four Emperors' strongholds, the Seven Warlords' hometowns, the Worst Generation... Gemis's eyes light up: Wow! So many subjects to draw! Later, faced with an overwhelming amount of material, Gemis falls into thought: Should my next series be "Be My Son! The Bearded Man's Bizarre Adoption Journey," or "Island Tales: The Life-and-Death Struggle Between Ice and Fire and the Echoes of Youth"? Actually, "Under the Birdcage: Vows to Die Together" sounds good, too. But I still haven't finished my short manga, "This First-Ranked Swordsman Just Happens to Love Farming!"... * Gemis's manga studio is a beloved and hated presence on the Grand Line. She dares to draw anything and works tirelessly, always holding the freshest first-hand material. The studio's research assistants seem to be everywhere, making people suspect she shares an intelligence network with Morgans, or might even be Morgans's secret identity. But she also brings people laughter and hope: her vivid brushstrokes cover the bleak future and depict a road leading to dawn. - Completed novels: "Did This Case-Closed Player Get Banned Today?"
