The 1970s: My Eccentric Family Adores Me

Jiang Xidi was determined to have a daughter.

What if a son was closer to you? Once he got married, he'd turn into an ungrateful wretch, take his wife's side, and insist on splitting up the family.

Daughters were different. Even after getting married, their husbands would still be outsiders, while a daughter would always be her darling.

She'd only ever heard of daughters enriching their mother's family after marriage, never of them taking money out of it, so daughters were definitely better.

At last, she got her wish.

Jiang Yaya, who took her mother's surname, was born with a Personal Development System that encouraged her to grow in character, intelligence, physical fitness, practical skills, and aesthetics.

But her family loved her far too much, and every day the System had to battle its Host's values.

Jiang Xidi: "Sweetheart, it's only right for your brothers to support you. If they won't spend their money on you, they'll just spend it on some other woman."

Personal Development System: "Host, please take note: this value is incorrect. Brothers and sisters should love and care for one another..."

Jiang Xidi: "My darling, Mom will sneak you some extra food so you can keep it all to yourself."

Personal Development System: "Sharing is a virtue... Sharing is a virtue."

At last, the Personal Development System went mad.

Theme: Strive with enthusiasm and promote well-rounded development in character, intelligence, physical fitness, aesthetics, and practical skills.
