The novel The Legend of Love, Hate, and Fire is the third book in Li Lan's Binhai Trilogy and a sequel to the novel Legends of Binhai. It celebrates the comradeship and revolutionary love that developed between our Party's underground operatives Yan Xuting and Peng Qing as they joined forces to work undercover inside the Japanese Kwantung Army's military police headquarters. The work celebrates their heroic actions in the struggle for national liberation and their courageous, self-sacrificing spirit. The novel has 32 chapters.
