Dinner with the CEO

Aloof, Refined Gentleman × Shy Little Sweetheart

Qin Shiyue has fair skin, a sweet face, and a soft voice, and she attracts plenty of admirers. Unfortunately, she's also extremely shy and socially anxious. After graduating, she stays home and lives like a couch potato.

Her family can't stand it anymore and forces her to get a job.

A month and a half after she starts, the company holds its annual year-end raffle. She wins the grand prize, a bolt from the blue: dinner with the CEO.

She can barely taste a thing throughout the meal.

The next day, she's transferred to the front desk.

Help! A severely socially anxious person is about to suffocate!

Gu Qun has a secret little quirk: he likes cute things.

Cute ornaments, cute animals, and cute women.

At the year-end banquet, Qin Shiyue wears a red dress with a mustard-green shawl, looking like a juicy, tempting strawberry.

With just one look, Gu Qun can't get her out of his mind.

The little strawberry is timid and blushes easily. When there are lots of people around, she speaks so softly no one can hear her.

He loves leaning close to her lips to listen as she speaks. She stumbles over her words and sometimes accidentally bites her tongue.

When it hurts, she covers her mouth, her big eyes brimming with tears and hurt.

His heart clenches, then melts into a puddle.

His thin lips twitch. Holding back his racing heartbeat, he says greedily, "What did you just say? I couldn't hear you. Could you say it again?"

He leans his ear closer, and sure enough, the little strawberry flusters all over again, sweetening his heart.
