#No Getting Back Together After a Breakup#

Shen Zhishen is known at A University as an untouchable beauty.

Sheng Ying pursues him relentlessly for two years before finally bringing him down from his pedestal.

Later, when their feelings are at their peak, they sleep together. The next day, without any warning, he breaks up with her:

"I never wanted a relationship. You were the one who wouldn't leave me alone."

"It was both our first time. We both wanted it, so no one's at a disadvantage."

"Besides, your figure isn't that great."

"I regret it."

His thin lips shape one cruel sentence after another.

Sheng Ying breaks down on the spot, slaps him hard, blocks him, and vanishes without a trace.

Years later, they meet again after a long separation.

The moment he sees her, the man's eyes redden and fill with tears. "I've been looking for you for five whole years!"

"I'm sorry. I was wrong back then... Please, give me another chance."

They get back together not long afterward.

Shen Zhishen loves Sheng Ying deeply and soon proposes.

Sheng Ying accepts with a smile.

At their wedding, the video that was supposed to play malfunctions and is replaced by an audio recording.

The recording is a conversation between two friends.

One of them is none other than the bride. She tells her friend, somewhat awkwardly, about something that's been troubling her.

Her friend sounds surprised. "He seems... like he can't perform. How do you even bring that up? Telling him to see a doctor would hurt his pride, but if you don't say anything, you'll be the one suffering. You two..."

The guests erupt in an uproar, all looking at a certain part of the groom.

The bride covers her face and runs away.

The wedding ends in farce and is eventually called off.

Shen Zhishen goes from heaven to hell and asks Sheng Ying why.

A cruel smile plays at the corner of Sheng Ying's lips. "How could I possibly marry someone who hurt me? Even if it was a misunderstanding, you're still the nightmare that haunts me in the middle of the night, for the rest of my life."
