The Years I Spent Protecting the World with My Secret Crush

A tough, taciturn bear big sister seme who loves all things fluffy x a timid pro who always gives in, a little rabbit brat who bites when pushed too far

Hu Niannian has secretly liked someone for a long time. She likes her so much she'd give her all her carrots to eat. But she doesn't know that the other girl only likes spicy rabbit heads.

Xiong Kewei knows there's a little rabbit brat keeping an eye on her, so she deliberately walks past the window where the girl sits. But the silly rabbit just sits there counting on her fingers to solve a problem about chickens and rabbits in a cage.

She thinks, whoever marries this rabbit will probably have to teach her how to count carrots.

During a swimming lesson's "one-on-one" activity, Xiong Kewei becomes the rabbit brat's swimming instructor.

Xiong Kewei: "Are you as tall as the pool?"

Hu Niannian, her eyes reddening: "R-rabbits are afraid of water!"

Xiong Kewei presses a hand to her forehead.

After a virus outbreak, the two head together into a danger zone to volunteer.

Surrounded, they work together in perfect sync (not really).

Xiong Kewei: "Go to that building first."

Hu Niannian turns into a little rabbit, darts into the underground parking garage, and drives out in an off-road vehicle.

Xiong Kewei: "Why are you taking this risk? What would I do if something happened to you?"

Hu Niannian points at the car: "I thought this would be faster. Don't think you can leave me behind and get into trouble by yourself."

Theme: Even ordinary, timid people can become brave when touched by love.
