Lost and Found

Yu Xie sees Shen Wenyan again at a high school reunion.

He had been secretly in love with Shen Wenyan for a long time. When he confessed at graduation, Shen Wenyan turned him down. Yu Xie had been unable to let it go, convinced he’d made a fool of himself.

Years later, when they meet again, Yu Xie realizes he can finally joke and chat freely in Shen Wenyan’s presence. That means he’s no longer in love with him.

But Shen Wenyan is strange. Yu Xie has already turned and walked away, yet Shen Wenyan comes after him.

A story about someone who grows up, matures, comes to his senses, and then insists on going back to an old flame.

My free short story, One Handful of Smoke, is also being serialized: aloof cross-dressing top x scheming subordinate love interest, first-person narration from both perspectives. If you’re passing by and it sounds interesting, come check it out.

My next story will be First Choice, a sweet childhood-friends romance. If you’re passing by, come take a look!

Ni Xingqiao and Yao Xu were born on the same day, at the same hospital, almost at the same time. Yao Xu was born three minutes before Ni Xingqiao.

Before they were born, their parents didn’t know the babies’ sexes. While chatting at the hospital, they jokingly said, “Why don’t we arrange a betrothal for them?”

It was just a joke, and neither family took it seriously. But when the adults brought it up to the kids later, the two little rascals took it to heart.

From childhood, Yao Xu chased after Ni Xingqiao, calling him his wife. Ni Xingqiao objected: “Why do I have to be the wife?”

Yao Xu said, “I can be the wife, then.”

They grew up together, going from sleeping in adjacent delivery rooms to sharing the same bed.

A sweet childhood-friends romance, with mutual affection and a love devoted to one person.

Theme: Stay true to yourself, strive to improve, and never forget your original aspirations as you grow.
