Liang Duo Pretends to Be Asleep

Liang Duo, 28, runs a small clinic of his own. Every day, he surfs the internet and drinks tea, then takes care of the occasional patient.

He’s sweet and kind, and his clinic is covered in thank-you banners.

He smiles warmly at everyone, so people all assume Liang Duo must be easy to win over. Little do they know, his life motto is: Don’t love me. It won’t end well.

He’s an absolute bachelor by choice and enjoys living alone.

But Jiang Han’s arrival taught him that nothing in this world is “absolute.”

Jiang Han, 23, considers himself a sunny, handsome guy. He went to the little clinic across from his school for a shot, and fell head over heels for the young doctor at first sight.

But the young doctor was immune to every charm, so Jiang Han had to keep wearing him down.

He thinks Liang Duo actually likes him, but is too stubborn to admit it.

Jiang Han: “Now I understand why people say you can never wake someone who’s pretending to be asleep.”

Liang Duo: “Sorry, I’m not pretending. I’m really asleep. Don’t believe me? Listen, I’m even snoring!”
