[Western Crossover] Love at First Sight

Bruce Wayne falls in love with Zhongqing at first sight.

But he doesn't believe it. That sort of thing couldn't happen to him.

He decides to wait and see, pretending to have fallen in love at first sight to test her.

But before that, he needs to look into a few things.

Science side

Bruce: She's beautiful. I swear I fell for her at first sight, but Batman doesn't believe me. He insists I ask you if there's... you know, even a truth serum.

Stark: God, why won't that gloomy guy believe you just fell for her looks? I can tell you there isn't one. S.H.I.E.L.D. doesn't have one either.

Magic side

Batman: Zatanna, check whether there's any trace of magic on me.

Zatanna: There isn't. Really, there isn't. Why won't you believe you fell for her at first sight?

Batman (through gritted teeth): This isn't scientific.

Zatanna (trying not to laugh): Oh, it isn't magical either.

Mr. Wayne doubts himself. Is he really that shallow?

A little secret

Thanks to one person and a whole family's efforts, Zhongqing finally falls in love with Bruce.

But Batman isn't satisfied. No, I love all of her, but she doesn't love all of me?!

So this story could also be called "The Fussy Lord and His Sweet Wife Who Always Wants to Be Independent" or "Mr. Wayne, Who Clearly Fell in Love at First Sight, Insists on Pretending He Fell in Love with Zhongqing at First Sight."

P.S. The heroine is of Chinese-American heritage, a Gotham native, with no superpowers. She's an ordinary person and a genius. This doesn't follow the canon plot, just a cheesy, sweet romance. Any OOC characterization is my fault, not Batman's. I never keep track of the timeline. I'll add more if I think of anything.

Theme: Give Batman more care and more love.
