The Eighteenth-Floor Apartment Building

After graduating, Wei Xuejun is forced by money troubles to move, half-asleep, into an extraordinary apartment building.

The neighbors are very friendly, but Wei Xuejun would rather not have to deal with them. She can see beings from other worlds, and none of her neighbors are human.

The curvy beauty next door has a snake's tail instead of legs, the little boy on the other side howls at the moon, and the vampire and demon across the hall stage murder scenes every day.

Wei Xuejun: "I'm exhausted. I want to move."

But every time she goes out and sees her landlady across the hall, with nine fox tails fluttering behind her, Wei Xuejun shamefully pushes aside any thoughts of leaving. All she can think about is how badly she wants to pet her.

[Foxes are so cute. Foxes are so fluffy and pettable.]

Theme: We press forward in the current of history, and are reborn amid endless destruction.
