Dropped In as My Ex's Boss

Gu Yanxi and her ex-boyfriend Xie Qingyu were each other's first love. Their sweet high school romance was broken up by her father before it had even begun properly.

She spent six years abroad. After returning, she carefully arranged a dramatic homecoming, landing from overseas and becoming Xie Qingyu's direct supervisor.

At their first meeting, Xie Qingyu looked distant and greeted her respectfully: "Manager Gu."

Fine, so we're pretending not to know each other?

Gu Yanxi put on an air of authority and treated him like an ordinary subordinate, giving him one task after another.

Xie Qingyu took it all in stride, handling everything impeccably.

They carried on in this lukewarm way until he got drunk at a celebration banquet and cornered Gu Yanxi.

His hot breath brushed her ear as Xie Qingyu murmured hoarsely, "Boss, did you bring me to your side just to have me serve you tea and water?"

Gu Yanxi: "What else?"

"I'm offering myself to you. Please love me one more time, Manager Gu."
