Dr. Mori and His Tool

In one world, the young Doctor Mori unexpectedly learned how the future would unfold, and not just one possible future, but several.

The war they were fighting now was doomed to end in defeat. In the future, he would fight for his ideals.

So here's the question: if the war was bound to be lost a year from now, why should he risk his life here with his subordinates? Wouldn't it be better to slack off?

Having seen the future, Doctor Mori made a different choice.

He brought his subordinates back to their homeland, where he unexpectedly saw a silver-haired man on the street.

Thinking of the bond that would inevitably connect them in several possible futures, Doctor Mori decided to make the first move.

The moon was beautiful that night, but Doctor Mori found that this sort of thing wasn't all that great after all. The best years of his life should be spent building a career.

However, a certain silver-haired assassin refused to let the doctor go.

And so, his carefully planned career ended up including a cold-faced assassin to help him raise their apprentices.
