Overstepping

A secretly-in-love male lead / spoiled, radiant princess x a quiet, cold, devoted guard dog / the female lead does not go bankrupt

When Xu Jianyue was fifteen, she leaned over the second-floor railing and saw Liang Zhao for the first time.

The boy stood outside the villa, dressed lightly. His brows and eyes were cold, and falling snow covered him, unable to hide his aloof pride.

Later, her father brought him home and told Xu Jianyue to get along well with him.

With a cool expression, he carried Xu Jianyue's instrument case, poured her water, and served her food, addressing her in a distant tone as "Miss."

Xu Jianyue thought Liang Zhao couldn't stand her and only obeyed because he owed her father a debt of gratitude.

Until, on the eve of her departure abroad, she found a gift box in an old suitcase.

She had seen the amulet inside before. Liang Zhao had once pressed it to his chest and worn it at all times.

There was also a card, written in elegant handwriting:

"May you look up and see the moon, and be safe and well year after year."

**

At first, Liang Zhao thought Miss was spoiled and hard to please.

Later, he decided it was just childishness, something he could put up with.

Until the night Xu Jianyue left.

On that quiet winter night, Liang Zhao gazed up at the moon in the snowy sky and began to miss her beyond measure.

Perhaps the moon, hanging high in the sky, was born to be admired from afar.

But Liang Zhao wanted to be by her side.

**

Whether he was sixteen or twenty-six, Liang Zhao felt that his love for Xu Jianyue was an act of presumption.
