I Found the Villain's Notebook

Innocent older man * bright young woman

Blurb:

Cheng Qian receives a strange notebook.

In the dead of night, unfamiliar handwriting appears in it out of nowhere.

The writing is elegant and neat, but every line is filled with weariness toward life.

One night, the notebook rustles in the wind. On its blank pages, the writing grows frantic and messy, repeating the words "I want to die" over and over.

At last, Cheng Qian can't take it anymore and writes back: "Don't! Life is so beautiful. Why don't we think it over?"

The writing stops. A few seconds later, a "?" slowly appears.
