Do Bionic Tops Dream of Electronic Bottoms? [Cyberpunk]

Lin Jingzhe, a miserable computer science student, transmigrated while doing an experiment. The moment he opened his eyes, a group of androids were chasing him.

It was only after someone rescued him that Lin Jingzhe learned he had transmigrated to the year 2077.

It was an era when relations between AI and humanity were dangerously tense.

And he was the only human in this district.

In 2070, a solar particle eruption caused pollution to worsen, giving Earth an additional layer of "clouds."

Once the "clouds" completely blocked out the sunlight, androids would lose their energy, effectively being destroyed en masse.

To return to his own time, Lin Jingzhe was forced to ally with the android who had rescued him and obtain the key to the "Gate Above the Clouds," which humans had designed.

He had thought this was a story about saving the world, but then he discovered that Gu Yu, the android with alluring, peach-blossom eyes, was paying him far too much attention.

When Lin Jingzhe wanted to see the ocean, Gu Yu marshaled data and created a holographic sea for him.

When Lin Jingzhe wanted a cat, Gu Yu went to great lengths to buy one on the black market. The price was three days' worth of leaking battery fluid.

For Lin Jingzhe's birthday, Gu Yu carved him a cyberpunk castle on a piece of scrap metal no bigger than a palm.

The intensity of Gu Yu's advances made Lin Jingzhe's skin crawl. One day, he couldn't help asking, "Why are you so good to me?"

Gu Yu smiled. "Because I love you."

Lin Jingzhe was astonished. "Does artificial intelligence know what love is?"

"It does."

Gu Yu took his hand and placed it against his chest. "Right here. A program written in 7,300 lines of code lets me love you with my life."

"Loving you with my life is the most important mission I was given after I was created."

I am your partner from the future.

I am not a fantasy, nor an illusion.

Following the commands of my code,

I will be your indestructible shield,

Your sword to cut through every obstacle,

And love you with all that I am,

Until the day my program ends.

From an excerpt of an AI deconstruction program

"Please enter the rules,

And define joy and sorrow by your instincts.

Whatever u do.

Whenever u do.

Wherever u are."

"I fell in love with you before I ever met you."
