How on Earth Did I Win Over 5T5?

Shen Jiuyue is a Grade Special Jujutsu Investigator at the Bureau of Yin and Yang. She considers herself dedicated to her job, though the Bureau’s higher-ups disagree; responsible, though her dependable deputy disagrees; and a judge of excellent taste, though the entire Bureau disagrees! A junior colleague once summed her up tactfully (in an attempt to save face): “Senior Jiuyue is a pretty great person, except for her personality and her taste.” Shen Jiuyue: “I’ll grant you the personality part, but what’s wrong with my taste?” Her colleagues: “...Why don’t you take a look at the person you like first?” Shen Jiuyue: “Right, so what’s wrong with Gojo?” Her colleagues: “...” Since everyone at the Bureau knows who she’s secretly in love with, her kindhearted colleagues give her all kinds of pictures of gods for her birthday every year. The deities come from every pantheon, East and West alike. Everyone agrees she ought to pray to the gods more often. After all, only the gods can protect her now. The local gods might not be able to withstand what that man can dish out, so she can try foreign gods too. They’re all gods; they can share the burden. Shen Jiuyue: “...” Forced to learn about the gods of the entire world, Shen Jiuyue thinks there’s something wrong with her colleagues. Her colleagues think even the gods can’t fix her brain. This irreconcilable conflict continues until one day, when she accidentally travels twelve years back to a certain timeline and meets Gojo at sixteen, still attending Jujutsu High. Shen Jiuyue: “...” That day, she sees the light. She needs to apologize to her colleagues. Sorry, maybe she really is the one with something wrong with her. ***Mutual pining, chaotic antics, and the strongest jujutsu sorcerer teaching you how to stay single while you’re both in love with each other.
