The buyer paid and got the keys. The next night, a black car drove into the complex. The faint smell of blood drifted to Bo Gu's nose. She turned her head slightly, a standard, gentle smile appearing on her fair face. "Welcome to your new home."

The next day, a police car arrived. In the new apartment, officers found a woman's corpse, solving a missing-person case that had been cold for six years.

Her peaceful days were gone for good. Before she could even put up a hiring notice, a tall man showed up and volunteered himself for the job.
