The sister story, The Princess Consort Detective, is currently updating.
[Synopsis]
Qin Ruoxi unexpectedly transmigrates into a matriarchal novel, becoming the sixth princess of the Kingdom of Chihuang. After waking up, she refuses to eat and has nothing on her mind but dying. The Empress is terrified, and to give her daughter a chance at survival, she decrees a marriage to bring her good fortune.
On their wedding day, Kan Meng tends to Qin Ruoxi without taking a moment's rest. One thing leads to another, and he cares for her for three whole months.
Thanks to his attentive care, Qin Ruoxi finally recovers. But then another problem arises: her personality changes completely. She becomes fussy about everything and indulges in sensual pleasures, as if she's become a lost cause.
The Empress comes to visit several times, only to leave disappointed each time.
Everyone says that Qin Ruoxi, once a capable and clever princess, has turned out this way because Kan Meng failed to bring her good fortune with their wedding. Instead, he's brought bad luck and infected his wife with it.
Kan Meng secretly commits those cruel remarks to memory, then hurries to his wife's side and pouts, pretending to be aggrieved. He refuses to say another word, leaving Qin Ruoxi unable to stop worrying about him.
“What's wrong, Mengmeng?”
“It's nothing, Wife. Don't worry. It's all my fault. I shouldn't have lost my composure in front of you, but... I... I feel awful.”
“Don't cry, don't cry. Mengmeng is such a good boy. Who bullied you? I'll go teach her a lesson!”
“I can't bear to make things difficult for you, Wife. Don't go!”
“All right, all right, I'll do as you say.”
“Wife, I... I want to eat your sweet-and-sour ribs, boiled fish, and... I'm sorry. I shouldn't make you cook...”
“That's enough, stop it. I'll go make them for you! You always say the opposite of what you mean. Doesn't it get tiring? Wait here like a good boy!” Qin Ruoxi turned and went to the small kitchen.
Kan Meng's heart was sweet with satisfaction, his little scheme having worked perfectly.
No one knows how gentle and doting Qin Ruoxi can be after her personality changes, or how impossible it is to let go of her.
To satisfy his appetite, his wife clumsily learns to cook. To take him on scenic trips, she deliberately does foolish things and lets people misunderstand her. To grant his wish, she gives up a throne that was practically hers for the taking. For him, she...
Whatever kind of wife she is, Kan Meng can't bear to let her go. He wants to stay firmly by her side and never give an inch.
Everyone used to say he was a poor fool with no eye for people. Now, he only hopes that no one else discovers how wonderful his wife is, so he can keep her all to himself as his little secret.
PS: Matriarchal world, women above men, 1v1, sweet romance, male pregnancy!!!

Synopsis for the upcoming novel The General's Substitute Husband Wants to Compete for Her Favor:
Chen Ke transmigrates into the daughter of a low-ranking soldier stationed at the border.
Life at the frontier is harsh and difficult, and their forces are thin on the ground. She's always worried that one day the city will fall and she'll be captured and abused.
To prevent that from happening, she tricks her father into going home and keeps him there, then takes his place in the army.
Five months later, Chen Ke has not only wiped out the enemy forces, but also captured thirteen cities in a row, becoming a renowned female general.
Her father, still stuck at home, is dumbfounded: ???
What does this mean?
Wait, give me a moment. I can't quite wrap my head around it. Let me think this through.
With the border at peace, Chen Ke's parents want to find their daughter a spouse.
Every soldier at the frontier eagerly recommends himself, showering her parents with gifts to win their favor.
Chen Ke's parents are overwhelmed by the choices.
Her father: It's so hard to choose. None of them seem good enough for my daughter...
Her mother nods: Exactly.
They don't manage to arrange a match before Chen Ke returns to the capital to receive her honors, and the Emperor grants her an excellent marriage.
Her chosen husband is none other than Yang Huaiwen, the Grand Tutor's son.
They say Yang Huaiwen is a master of both letters and arms, excelling in all six gentlemanly arts.
Many people think Chen Ke isn't good enough for him.
On their wedding day, she lifts the groom's veil.
The man beneath it is certainly handsome, but...
Chen Ke asks in confusion: Who are you? Where's the Grand Tutor's most outstanding son?
Yang Huaizhou blinks. General, that's me.
Chen Ke snaps: I've seen him. You're not him!
Yang Huaizhou: I am, General.
Chen Ke eyes him suspiciously: You are what?
Yang Huaizhou smiles brightly: The Grand Tutor's... most outstanding son.
Chen Ke thinks whether Yang Huaizhou really is the Grand Tutor's most outstanding son remains to be seen, but he is absolutely the one best at competing for her favor.
At court, when Chen Ke argues with the civil officials, Yang Huaizhou argues even more fiercely than she does. When she goes on campaign, he travels with the army, takes care of her, and offers strategies. When treacherous officials frame her and she loses power, he fights tirelessly on her behalf, risking his life to help her rise again...
How could Chen Ke not love a husband who competes so hard for her affection!
