The Witch Jiao Jiao Is a Crybaby [1990s]

An innocent, kindhearted little witch whose only spellcasting skill is crying

A rough, one-legged male lead whose heart melts whenever the adorable little witch gets to him

[Blurb]

The magical world fell apart, and the witch Lu Jiaojiao accidentally landed on Blue Star. It was scorching hot and dry, and Jiaojiao couldn't adapt to the climate. She could only hold up a chipped, broken bowl and sob as she mumbled an incantation.

Then came several clinks.

The broken bowl was suddenly full of shiny coins.

The one-legged man took pity on her. "It's not much, but it'll keep you alive."

Jiaojiao tilted her head: ???

No, I was praying for rain, not begging for food! Come back here!

The second time they met, she was sobbing as she cast a spell to punish a kidnapper who preyed on women.

The one-legged man handed her two chicken legs. "Pathetic. All you know how to do is cry."

Jiaojiao, tears at the corners of her eyes: o.o ???

Shouldn't you be praising me for standing up for what's right?

Later, Jiaojiao cried herself hoarse while treating the one-legged man's leg. After three months, her eyes were swollen like walnuts.

Feng Xiu was worried sick. "Let's stop the treatment. We don't have to keep going."

Jiaojiao cried even harder. "No! I've cried for so many days... I can't give up halfway, sob..."

Feng Xiu clumsily wiped away her tears. "Then let's stop crying, okay?"

Jiaojiao pouted angrily. "No! (Hic) If I don't cry, the illness won't get better. Sob..."

Feng Xiu's eyes reddened too.

Jiaojiao, I'll never let you shed another tear again.

P.S. A sweet little story, one-on-one romance.
