The Great Sage [Western Fantasy]

Western fantasy / transmigration / forced to act cool / time to put on an acting masterclass

While filming, film emperor Bai Xiu accidentally transmigrates to another world.

And as soon as he arrives, he suddenly finds himself in an ancient forbidden land where the dragon and phoenix races are at war.

Brilliant, deadly light surrounds him on all sides. At the critical moment, Bai Xiu straightens his lavish, cumbersome robes of a Great Sage, remains completely unruffled, and says in a deep voice:

"Why have you disturbed my slumber?"

It's basically a story about someone who [at first only wanted to survive, but ended up making his act come true, and no one believes him when he tells the truth].

Mini-scene:

[On the Self-Cultivation of an Actor]

A small human kingdom suffers under the torment of the elves of Hede Forest, and the people are destitute. The king begs the Great Sage for help.

Bai Xiu grumbles: Why are you asking me? Who am I supposed to ask?! The human race has been declining for ages!

The king falls to his knees and weeps: "Waaah, Great Sage..."

A perfect smile instantly appears on Bai Xiu's face. He reaches out with just the right gesture to gently help the king up. "Do not worry. I shall go to Hede Forest myself and meet with the Elven King."

The king is overcome with gratitude: "Thank you for your gracious mercy!!!"

Bai Xiu is distraught: I'm doomed! Why did I react on instinct again?! I'm a fake! Why am I not keeping my head down? Why go to Hede Forest, with its SSS danger rating?! The short-tempered Elven King could slap me straight into my next life!

Later.

The Elven King: "The elves will always be your friends. The gates of Hede Forest are open to you at all times!"

Bai Xiu: Finally, I bluffed my way through! Time to get out of here! (wipes sweat)

Then along comes another king: "Waaah, Great Sage, the draconians of the Soviel Marsh are oppressing us so badly!"

Bai Xiu: Dra... dra-what?!

Bai Xiu: ...Can I run away? I'm really not a Great Sage!

Theme: As long as you are sincere, everyone can sense it.
