Absolute Luck

After arriving in Yokohama, the amnesiac Komaeda Nagito has one misfortune after another: Mori Ogai runs him over when his brakes fail, Fyodor kidnaps him at the hospital, then he spots someone going into the water by the shore. Though he has no intention of rescuing them, his legs suddenly give way and, unlucky as ever, he falls into the sea. Komaeda, pulled from the water: I really am so lucky! The next day, Kunikida, who rescued him, gains a new partner named Dazai Osamu. Komaeda, successfully joining the detective agency: I really am lucky, you know~ Right after he says this, the Port Mafia's combat unit attacks, leaving the office in ruins. Komaeda, winning first prize in a shopping draw: I sure am lucky~ Right after he says this, everyone encounters the Guild. They fight for days, and the agency members are exhausted to the point of collapse. Komaeda, just after someone confesses to him: I really... Everyone at the detective agency, horrified: Shut up!!! From that day on, the Armed Detective Agency has a special rule: The moment Komaeda says the word “lucky,” get as far away from him as fast as you can! The greater his luck has been, the farther you need to run! If you don't manage to get away... My condolences. Reader's guide: 1. Crossover fanfiction.
