His gaze darkens as he approaches her step by step and leans in. "As the real-life inspiration for the male lead, I think there is."

Later, as Zhuang Xibei is pinned down and kissed, she bitterly regrets writing that final episode!

The night before returning to China, Shi Huawu meets a handsome, well-built man in the night.

His arms are strong and powerful. When they kiss, he protects the back of her head, and afterward, patiently feeds her water, one sip at a time.

Shi Huawu thinks they'll never meet again, and leaves without a backward glance.

A financial crisis suddenly hits her family, but by the time Shi Huawu rushes home, it's already been resolved.

Her father laughs and says, "Thank goodness my old friend was willing to help."

Only when her benefactor comes over for tea does she learn that the man who helped her family is the same man she spent the night with: Fei Zhehai.

Fei Zhehai is dressed formally today, his shirt hiding the tattoo on his abdomen and the lines of his muscles.

He looks Shi Huawu over. "Have we met before?"

Shi Huawu quickly shakes her head. "How could we have? I've never seen you before!"

"Then I must be mistaken." Fei Zhehai reaches out his hand. "Hello, Xiaowu. Nice to meet you."

Their brief handshake sends a familiar warmth through Shi Huawu, making her scalp tingle and bringing her right back to that heated night.

Her father notices the dinosaur charm Fei Zhehai carries around and says, "My daughter has one just like it!"

Fei Zhehai glances at Shi Huawu and says nonchalantly, "I picked up a little fox a while ago. She ran off to play, so I have to keep her toy, in case she forgets who I am."

Worried that her father might get suspicious, Shi Huawu waits for a chance when they're alone, corners Fei Zhehai, puts her hands on her hips, and demands, "What do you mean by that? Who are you hinting at?"

Fei Zhehai chuckles. "Little fox, do you remember me now?"

With rain pouring down, Bei Shutong asks her best friend Ranran to pick her up after a party. Ranran has something to do, so she sends Bei Shutong her door code and tells her to stay at her place.

Bei Shutong flat-out refuses.

Not long after, her best friend's brother calls.

"Come over."

Bei Shutong refuses. "No. Ranran's not home. It wouldn't be appropriate."

She hears the click of a metal lighter opening, followed by the man's low voice:

"How many times have you snuck upstairs to sleep when Ranran wasn't around? And now you think it's inappropriate?"

"In ten years, you'll understand that when a young girl talks romance with you, what you should do is call out her act of being deep and mysterious, not invite her for a drink."

Liang Huaisheng once said this to Bei Shutong.
