Who Knew the Cannon Fodder Would Be Everyone's Darling? [Quick Transmigration]

1. The Rich Family's Switched-at-Birth Story

System: "You're the fake young master, a cat swapped for a prince. After bullying the real young master, you get kicked out of the house by him and his family, and end your days in a dark, cramped basement."

But this is supposed to be the story where the real young master face-slaps you and kicks you out of the house.

The supposedly rebellious real young master lowers his head and grips Yun Gu's hand tightly, hiding some inscrutable emotion in his eyes. His voice is hoarse: "Being your dog is something I do willingly."

And his reserved, cold older brother says softly, "I'll protect you. No one can hurt you."

Yun Gu: "...Well, thank you?"

2. The Substitute Story

System: "You're the substitute, a mere mosquito's-blood stand-in. You're vicious and frame the protagonist for stealing confidential information from a rival company. In the end, the protagonist sends you to prison..."

But the protagonist pulls Yun Gu into his arms and says with a smile, "It's okay. I'll give you everything you want."

The white moonlight tenderly strokes Yun Gu's features, then kisses the space between his eyebrows. "If he were gone, would you stay by my side?"

Yun Gu: "...Wait, there's still time to save this."

3. The Crowd-Favorite Darling Story

System: "Everyone hates you. You're jealous of the crowd favorite, so you push him into a lake. You earn the hatred of a loyal dog-type love interest and a scheming love interest, then get exiled to a frozen wasteland..."

At a scene where the crowd favorite is supposed to shine, everyone instead surrounds Yun Gu, fussing over him. Even the crowd favorite's younger brother says, "You're so pretty!"

Yun Gu is supposed to be a green-tea schemer whom everyone despises, but his childhood friend says, "I know what you're really like, but I'm in love with you."

The aloof, scheming emperor bends down and ties their hair together. "They say lovers who tie their hair together can live and die as one. I'll share half my life with you."

Yun Gu: "Don't do this. You're scaring me."

4. Period Story

You're jealous of the teacher from the city...

You're a country bumpkin who returns from a backwater village to your wealthy family.

The System can't understand it: "How did you manage to have nothing to do with the original plot without making the world fall apart?"

Yun Gu: "Ah, maybe it's a talent..."

Only at the end does Yun Gu learn that he was supposed to reincarnate for ten lifetimes and endure endless loneliness. Someone created these small worlds for him, striving to change his own fate so Yun Gu could return sooner.

According to the setting, he's the devoted backup love interest, a pursuer who quietly watches over the protagonist recipient. When the recipient cries, Yan Qiu must comfort him. When the recipient and the protagonist seme get back together, Yan Qiu must stand to the side and watch with a smile.

But Yan Qiu is out having the time of his life.

The protagonist recipient is feeling wronged, but Yan Qiu is out drinking with friends. The recipient calls him, but Yan Qiu is chatting with a new, handsome younger guy.

Yan Qiu pays less and less attention to the protagonist recipient until the recipient finally can't take it anymore. He blocks Yan Qiu on his way home, staring darkly at Yan Qiu and the man beside him, his smile just as cold.

He says, "Qiuqiu, come here. I won't be angry."

The original story's great villain takes Yan Qiu's hand and says coolly, "Qiuqiu, don't be afraid of him."

Yan Qiu: ???

In the second world, Yan Qiu is universally despised. The protagonist seme helped him once, and ever since, Yan Qiu has become someone the protagonist can summon and dismiss at will.

Yan Qiu does as he pleases. After leaving the protagonist seme's side, he becomes a social butterfly.

Then the protagonist seme discovers that his friends keep telling him how wonderful and adorable Yan Qiu is, and even his sworn enemy secretly slips Yan Qiu little gifts.

The protagonist seme grits his teeth and pulls Yan Qiu out of the protagonist recipient's arms. Trying to rein in his anger and inexplicable hurt, he says, "Didn't you say you only liked me?"

Yan Qiu: ???

In the third world, Yan Qiu is a weak, pitiful, helpless Alpha who silently devotes himself after being rescued by the Omega protagonist recipient.

He's injured and can't see. The protagonist recipient and protagonist seme take him back to their base, and then both of them try to take him everywhere they go.

They even turn against each other and become bitter rivals over him.

Yan Qiu: ?

In the fourth world, Yan Qiu is the only backup lover the protagonist seme won't accept in a crowd-favorite seme story.

Yan Qiu yawns and says lazily, "Sounds great to me."

But...

The protagonist seme says he only likes Yan Qiu. Everyone who used to like the protagonist seme turns to Yan Qiu, pleading for him to look their way.

Yan Qiu stops halfway through a yawn and lowers his hand in confusion. "What's going on?"

The fifth world...

The order of the worlds may change when the story begins.
