Adventurous guest C: But I heard this place is a legendary domain of ghosts, one that living people can't enter. The inn's appearance is pretty suspicious too. What if it's run by monsters who lure people here to eat them?

At those words, the inn fell so silent you could hear a pin drop. The workers turned their heads toward him with eerie expressions.

Xin Chuanshen couldn't stand it anymore. "Hey, what's the matter with you, sir? You eat my food, drink my drinks, and stay at my inn, and now you're spreading rumors?"

The guest tried to defend himself, but remembered the terrifying new manager the inn had hired and fell silent with a sheepish expression.

But Bai Huang pointed into the distance. "A wisp of my divine soul once dwelled in that stone statue."
