[Rain Bell Fanfiction] Bright and Clear

Statement: My thanks to the creative team for making such an outstanding wuxia story. All the credit belongs to the team. This foolish author is only responsible for the OOC.

Blurb: After working as a time-and-space merchant for so long, Dongfang Hui had sourced goods from various planes at her clients' request, but no one had ever asked her to deliver anything.

This time, the job was essentially a labor contract. She was to go to the world of Yu Lin Ling, pick out a fine piece of jade, carve it by hand into a cat-themed accessory, and give it to Zhan Zhao.

Plenty of people had spent big money buying things from her, but this was the first time anyone had spent big money to give something away. This client must truly love Zhan Zhao.

Dongfang Hui loved low-cost, high-profit ventures. Since the client was being so generous, she decided to be generous too: she would hone her carving skills, find the finest jade, and carve Zhan Zhao a cat accessory.

Since she was going to choose the best jade, Dongfang Hui decided to take a look in the imperial treasury...

Reader's Guide:

1. The female lead doesn't have a fixed ship. She'll ship anything because it keeps things balanced, including but not limited to men with men, women with women, and men with women. Many possible pairings are being explored.

2. Apart from the female lead, an transmigrator from another series will appear as an important supporting character. Those who dislike this should proceed with caution.

3. This is the tenth installment in the Time and Space series. The author's note in Chapter One will briefly introduce the backgrounds of the original main characters. The rest of the series is not necessary to read before starting this story.

4. There will be occasional appearances of content from Taiping Nian, since Emperor Renzong of Song was the nephew and grandson of Emperor Taizu of Song.

5. This story is based on the television adaptation of Yu Lin Ling, with some plot changes, but the overall development remains the same.

6. The female lead has an invincible golden finger. Because of her special identity, she often hides her true abilities and enjoys watching the chaos unfold. If that bothers you, proceed with caution.

7. I can't think of anything else that might bother readers. I'll add to this list as I write.

Theme: Though peace may still be separated from us by many a chill, we still believe that justice shines clearly in this world.
