The Love-Struck Fool Thinks There's Still Hope

I've run out of inspiration for the original blurb. Sorry. If that bothers you, feel free to remove this from your collection.

Also known as: The Love Fool Stops Picking Wild Vegetables

Yu Yi is a love fool. He dropped out of school at eighteen and worked three jobs a day, eating steamed buns with pickled vegetables. He used the same old mobile phone and wore one pair of canvas shoes for three years, but he was willing to buy his boyfriend the latest Air Jordans and a phone with the biggest storage capacity. He even put his boyfriend through college.

His friends said he was stupid. Yu Yi said they didn't understand love.

As a child, Yu Yi watched The Butterfly Lovers and thought it was the most beautiful love story. He didn't care about money. He believed that sincerity should be met with sincerity.

Then... he was cheated on.

And he wasn't just cheated on once.

Heartbroken, Yu Yi drank himself into a stupor and spent a fortune on Teacher Zhi's Love Fool's Guide to Not Getting Screwed.

As soon as he opened it, his heart twisted in pain. It turned out his tragedy had been foretold:

1. Spend money on a man, and you'll have three lifetimes of bad luck.

2. Support a man, and you'll have eight lifetimes of bad luck.

3. Believe me when I say I love you, and you'll get divorced three times in this life.

To hell with love!!!

Basically, it's a story about a love fool who finally comes to his senses.

The love interest isn't in the blurb.

New love interest.

A sincere, ordinary bottom x a younger, sweet puppy-like top.

They're six years apart.

The ideas behind the first three points were inspired by Zeng Shiqiang.
