Raising a Little Apple Tree

As an apple tree spirit hidden deep in the mountains, unknown to humankind, Xu Tianran leads a wonderfully eventful life. First, his five little apples make names for themselves in human society, then dig him out of the mountains overnight and plant him in their yard. They squabble every day over his kisses. Then, he gets lost by accident and is taken in by a kind stranger. He gets to eat and take things home, and even gets a surname. In return, he gives out plenty of kisses. And finally, with his apple-red face blushing, he is held in the handsome Mr. Xu's palm. He turns to his little apples and says earnestly, "Kids, this one is your dad too!" The five big apples all scowl, while a certain Mr. Xu smiles happily. Theme: Kindness is the finest virtue of every living creature.
