Unconventional Omega Assistant

1.

He Yuan is an orphan who grew up to adulthood with the help of the Omega Assistance Program of the Xingyuan Empire Alliance. His only dream in life is to do his utmost to repay the country that raised him!

So he applied for a position no one else wanted:

The renowned across the stars, human-shaped steel mechanical behemoth, extremely cold and fierce Rose General Wen Su's personal assistant.

After getting the job, he happily:

1. Cooked for General Wen.

2. Picked out and coordinated household items for General Wen.

3. Read poetry, sang songs, and shared gossip with General Wen.

4. Coaxed General Wen to sleep.

5. Accompanied General Wen to banquets.

... And so on.

Friend: That doesn't sound much like a proper assistant.

He Yuan: You're overthinking it. General Wen Su is one of the most powerful fighters in the entire star system. I take good care of him for the sake of our country!

2.

With the mating season approaching, the Alliance Military's Logistics Management Department suddenly assigned an Omega assistant. The intent was obvious, and perfectly reasonable.

So the Rose General Wen Su, whom no one had ever dared approach, began advancing the relationship:

At first sight of He Yuan: Weak.

After seeing how clumsy He Yuan was: Just as I thought.

But he was more attentive and thorough, his cooking was delicious, and his insomnia treatment worked: ...Ahem, no big deal.

Watching He Yuan smile from the sidelines: So cute... No, no big deal!

Until He Yuan stood up for him in public at a banquet, and at last: He loves me so much!!!!!!

...Then I love him too.

3.

War broke out, and the Tulip General fighting at the front needed an assistant. But the fighting was dangerous, and nobody had filled out the application form on the website.

He Yuan: The front lines are the most important! Now's the time to step up and serve our country!

He promptly resigned.

Wen Su, who had been lost in love: ?

Is there another general out there?

What's so great about Tulip? How is Rose any worse?!!!

Bonus Scene

That night, the unexpected finally happened. He Yuan was tipsy, dazed, and confused. The next day, fully sober, he exclaimed, "Oh no! I've really become an improper assistant!"

He had to resign!

Behind the desk, the human-shaped steel mechanical behemoth comfortably loosened his stiff collar and nodded in agreement. "That's right. We should change your status. We'll go register in a bit."
