The Space-Time Orb

For a while, I was really into fantasy stories. Not the rigorous, intricate, strange, sprawling kind of fantasy like The Lord of the Rings, but lighthearted, comic-book-style fantasy. That year, I was in my final year of high school, crushed by my studies and barely able to breathe. So I thought of an outlet, a way to escape. I created a world like this. A world belonging to two children. They are the best of friends, their bond untouched by gender or identity, utterly pure. This world has its own systems, with swords, magic, and machinery. It has the affairs of nations and the concerns of ordinary people, crises and mysteries. But what it will never lack is cozy bickering and laughter. Though my original plan was to turn it into a comic, I eventually gave up on that ambitious goal. And now, whenever I look back on those dark days of my final year of high school, I think of this novel, because I wrote it with joy. I hope I can share that lightness and happiness with everyone about to read it. Welcome to the world of two children Theme:
