Yun Qi lost a bet. The stakes: working as Xiang Xu's assistant for three months.

Xiang Xu, a popular star, is the rival of her idol.

Handsome, skilled at acting, and beloved by the public, he just beat her idol to win the Best Actor award.

She's determined to ruin his reputation within three months!

Later, after her dad cancels her credit card, she's struggling to make ends meet, and her fake assistant job becomes a real one. Yun Qi hears that Xiang Xu changes assistants more often than he changes clothes, so she tries desperately to shower him with praise and convince him to keep her:

At an awards ceremony, Xiang Xu gives a speech:

"Brother Xu, what you just said was so insightful. Listening to you for a moment is worth ten years of study. I'm truly honored to be your assistant."

At the launch of a new drama, Xiang Xu gets into costume:

"Brother Xu, your hair and makeup look so handsome today. I've never seen anyone so thick... who could pull off this look."

"Brother Xu, my dream is to get rich overnight. Otherwise, I could hug you."

Xiang Xu pulls her into his arms. "Then I'll let you hug me."

Yun Qi: ...?!

When the three months are up, Yun Qi, the little assistant, vanishes without a trace. Xiang Xu can't find her and is frantic.

Until one day, he's forced to meet his arranged-marriage match and finds Yun Qi there, also dragged into it against her will.

He grinds his teeth behind a smile. "What a coincidence!"

Heaven has finally rewarded my persistence. I've finally found you, damn it!

Chu Yan and Lin Jiyu first met in a hospital when they were six.

Chu Yan's younger sister had been critically injured in a car accident, while Lin Jiyu had suffered a head injury and lost his sight.

Unable to see, Lin Jiyu felt his way around, trying to find the restroom.

Seeing a "pretty girl" with a little braid and rosy lips heading for the men's room, kindhearted Chu Yan ignored his protests and led him into the women's restroom instead.

The misunderstanding caused a huge scene, leaving Chu Yan mortified.

The nurse couldn't stop laughing and loved to tease them whenever she could.

"After something like this, little Chu Yan, you'll have to take responsibility!"

Chu Yan nodded, trying to look calm. "Don't worry. Even if he's blind for the rest of his life, I'll still marry him."

Lin Jiyu blushed bright red and clutched the hem of his shirt. "I won't be blind forever!"

Still, he didn't say no.

So after that, she would bring up the little blind boy whenever she needed an excuse.

"I'm engaged. We got engaged at the hospital when we were six."

"A childhood vow, to stay together through life and death."

Lin Jiyu, dragged into the conversation for no reason: ...

The popular young actress Chu Yan is revealed to have had a childhood engagement.

And her betrothed turns out to be a little blind boy she met at the hospital!

Internet sleuths get to work and discover that the little blind boy is none other than the child star who appeared in just one movie, yet became a sensation thanks to his stunning looks!

Ever since Chu Yan learned that Lin Jiyu was a former child star, she has relentlessly badgered him to teach her how to act.

Lin Jiyu patiently presses a finger against Chu Yan's forehead. "I've never acted in a romance."

Chu Yan refuses to give up. "Acting skills are all connected. Once you get into character, everything else will fall into place."

Lin Jiyu falls silent for a moment, then leans closer. "Do you have a lot of feelings to draw on?"

Chu Yan's throat tightens. She answers modestly, "Not that many."

Lin Jiyu suddenly moves closer, his warm breath brushing across Chu Yan's face.

"Acting doesn't need feelings, but love does."

"Give all your feelings to me, and I'll teach you."
